We are also...

Passionate about learning. We recognise that personal development is a key element in keeping our global team motivated, inspired and engaged. We promote a culture of constant learning through formal training courses, alongside informal information-sharing opportunities, such as regular lunches hosted by our CEO. We encourage people to share and try new ideas and embrace change and technology.

We have a pro-active graduate and internship recruitment programme. Our strong partnership with Bath University allows us to support quality students. We consider work placement applicants from other universities and schools on a course-by- course basis. In Brazil, we offer work placements to coincide with full-time studies.

We aim to grow our graduates ‘from within’ through upskilling and on-the-job learning and we provide opportunities for graduates to transfer these skills through fast-track career opportunities across our global network.

Our Human Resources (HR) team develops and implements the necessary processes and procedures to ensure that we are compliant with the law and good practice.
We aim to employ a workforce that reflects the diversity of the markets in which we operate. Our employment policies, including a commitment to equal opportunity, are designed to attract and retain high-calibre people, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, disability, nationality or sexual orientation. It is our policy to provide employees with training and career development so they can achieve success within the Company and maintain a good work-life balance.
Our Employee Handbook contains a comprehensive set of policies including: disclosure of public interest matters and whistleblowing, positive working environment, alleged harassment and bullying, and discrimination. In-house training on equality, discrimination, harassment and bullying is mandatory and, for UK-based employees, is complemented by training from a specialist, external lawyer.

Some of the benefits

We promote a range of targeted activities that benefit both our communities and employees.
We encourage our employees to take time out of their usual work schedules to share skills and resources in our local communities. Employees have given their time to support a variety of programmes, with activities such as renovating gardens in London, building sports centres in Malawi and mentoring school children in entreprise schemes in Africa and India.
As a Group, we support two partner charities chosen for their valuable community work in our key markets: Teach A Man To Fish and Bhubesi Pride. In support of Bhubesi Pride’s work to build a sports and community centre in Malawi, Africa, we are funding a two-week volunteer trip for one of our employees to experience the impact development project first hand. We match all proceeds from employee fundraising activities for our partner charities.
We aim to manage and minimise our environmental impact where we have direct control. As a purely office-based service company, our main focus is on waste and energy reduction. In our London office, all office waste is either recycled or incinerated and recovered as new energy, with zero waste going to landfill. We also run a Bike to Work scheme.
We offer a variety of initiatives to promote the health and well-being of our employees. Gym membership discounts are Group-wide and in the London office we recently invited a speaker on World Mental Health Day to raise awareness of mental illness.
